First Bio-Gentle Training Event
March 19th - 21st, 2025
The first training event of the Bio-Gentle consortium was held from March 19th-21st at UPark, University of Twente campus. All 12 DCs participated in the complete training during these 3 days. As it was the first training event for the consortium, also all the PIs were present for the complete or part of the training.
This event was aimed at obtaining some generic skills, as well as obtaining a cohesive consortium. The generic skills, according to the Grant Agreement, included aspects on statistics, ethics, communication, collaboration, data management, exploitation and dissemination, best lab practices and risks.
To foster cohesion within the Bio-Gentle consortium, there was also time for social activities, including informal pool games, lunch, coffee breaks, and chats at the U-Park hotel, as well as a diner with the complete group in the city centre of Enschede.
